Samuel Hirszenberg
Samuel Hirszenberg (1865-1908) was a Jewish artist born in Poland. Hirszenberg became an artist at a young age, with works that included both Jewish and general themes. Invited to join the Bezalel Academy of Art in early 20th century, his short stay in Jerusalem portrays the significant changes in the subjects that preoccupied him.
