Between the High Holidays, the three-part series will explore Moses’ rejected final prayer, the enigmatic ending of the book of Jonah, and the connection between the Golden Calf and the Clouds of Glory.

 

In each case, we will allow ourselves to feel the pain of the unbearable and, with the help of midrashic and hassidic sources, to ask 'What happens next?'  How is the future imagined when catastrophe seems to end the story?
