Boundaries of Holiness

There are numerous ways of defining the boundaries of the Land of Israel as described in the Bible for the purpose of observing land-related mitzvot. In this episode, we explore the biblical boundaries of the Land of Israel and the effect of Exile on the halachic status of some of these boundaries. We will see how geopolitical considerations affect where and how Israel grows its food and when and what agricultural produce is exported from and imported to the State of Israel, which is not necessarily equal to the Land of Israel.
