Jewish Zealots and Zealotry in Antiquity:

Among the various militant parties that participated in the great uprising against Rome (66-73 CE), one group in particular referred to itself as "Zealots". But zealotry was not always considered a positive trait, and this lecture will attempt to follow the path of ancient Jewish zealotry, citing both the proponents as well as the critics of the phenomenon
