This Saturday we read Parashat Pinchas, which includes the story of the five daughters of Zelophehad, who sought a solution to the unique problem of inheritance in their family.
In this meeting we will discuss the economic situation of women in the Bible, in the days of the Second Temple and in the times of the Sages through archeological finds and texts from Jewish sources, and we will meet female figures in the context of inheritance, property, and business.
